A Letter Promising I Love You (2)

This post is to continue to what I (or we) haven writen last post in case you dunno.
A love story~ Please refer to previous post.


Here goes...



"Hello…" Mandy said with her trembling voice when she picks up the phone.
"Hello, is this Miss Mandy?” Says the voice at the other end of the phone.
Mandy answered anxiously, "Yes. and what happen to Tyler?".
The man on the other end of the phone replied her slowly assuring her that they are trying their best to stabilize Tyler.
"I’m afraid to tell you that Mr. Tyler is currently in ICU for extensive damage done to him due to an accident not long ago at a racing track. He had a concussion and a few broken ribs, and there's a severe internal bleeding. "
Mandy asked the man furiosly how could Tyler be in a racing track when he don’t even know how to speed??
The doctor said he doesn't know why but what he do know about is there has been an event at the racing track which have a grand prize of $10 000.
“…and by the way, he had a shining wedding ring in his hand held tightly.
We just couldn't get it out of his hand. I suppose he's trying to win the cash prize for you.”

Mandy stares at the telephone and her body goes numb.
The image of Tyler keeps on Going on and on in her mind. Tyler’s handsome face and muscular body.
"no… he couldn’t be hurt… he’s so strong.." She couldn’t believe what she have just heard, she couldn’t react to what she have heard until a voice screaming from the other end of the phone.
"Miss Mandy? Miss Mandy? Are u there? "
"Mr. Tyler gains his consciousness few minutes ago before we sent him for an operation and the word he last said is Mandy. That’s how we found your telephone number in his wallet
Is it possible for u to come over now?"

Mandy cries all her way when she's in the plane,when she's in the cab Going to the hospital.
There were times when she told herself not to cry pinching her own arm and spoke to herself
"Tyler shall be fine! silly Mandy why are you crying? "
"Remember? Tyler says that he's going to come over for Christmas this winter.... he never break a promise and he wouldn’t break it this time either."
"…stop Crying like a baby, he's going to be fine...".
But when she stares outside the window, her tears starts falling again trickling down her pinkish cheeks as a result for running all the way to catch the cab.

"…nothing's gonna change my for you...
you ought to know by now how much I love u...
One thing you can be sure of, I’ll never ask for more than your love…
the world may change my whole life through but nothing’s gonna change my love for you… "

Suddenly this song that Tyler use to sang to her was playing inside the cab....
It was the song he sang to her the day when he ask Mandy to be her girlfriend.
The song that was also played for their first prom night dance.
It was their song, a song that was full of their memories. Sweetness, bitterness, happiness, sadness, tears, laughter. It was Tyler’s promise- Nothing’s gonna change his Love for Mandy.
Mandy couldn’t help but keep crying and praying that Tyler will be fine...
She tries to find her hanky to wipe off all the tears when she knew she almost reach the hospital. She won’t want Tyler to see her in tears ( even though she don’t know if he can see her or not).
But then, she notice the letter that she is still holding.
The letter tat Tyler wrote to her that she haven read it yet this morning.
She opens the letter...

And here's how the letter reads:

Dear Mandy,
It has been a long time since we both meet.
I miss you, day and night. And every single moment I couldn’t take my mind off you and thinking of you makes my heart race and skips a beat.
This is how bad I want to be with you.
We've been through lots of hardship together to have what we couldn’t had have and I’m happy because you're willing to stick with me, through high and low, through ups and down, you're there for me.
Therefore, I want this relationship of ours to last, now, later, forever, and if possible every single life that we can have each other.
If you can understand my words and my feelings towards you, you should know by now that I want to take care of you and be with you no matter what happens.
To put it bluntly, I wanna.....
MARRY you.
I’m honest about it. It aint sweet talk, I’m gonna make it happen.
Therefore, I hope you can understand for whatever actions that I may take in the future
I really do hope you can understand~

Mandy’s tears just falls like pearls from a broken pearl necklace.
All the way she walk towards Tyler's room, she couldn’t see things clearly.
Everythingg seems so blur like nothing goes the way it should.
Tears was flooding her eyes..
She felt so weak when she walk towards the room which is just a few steps away.
Mandy almost though that her heart is gonna stop beating...
“…Why? Why? Why?... "
She screams it out when she just finish reading the letter. But then her voice get smaller and smaller until it is so weak that it's not even louder than a squeak of a mouse.
When she sees Tyler's room number, she almost fainted in front of the door.

Suddenly everything seems like turning. There was a blackout for a few seconds for she is too weak to face Tyler for all he have done... just for her... Just for his beloved Mandy…
But deep inside her heart she heard a voice calling...
"Mandy, you can’t back out and be weak this time, Tyler needs you.... He's waiting for u to call him, to call him to be awake and to hear you say I do... I'm willing to marry you."
Mandy hold on to her feels slowly gaining energy on her feet.
With a heavy heart she wipes off the tears.
She never felt a door that was as heavy as the handle of Tyler's room.
And slowly, she pushes the door…
