A Letter Promising I Love You (4)- END

This is a post to continue what I (or we) have written in the last post in case you don't know.

Subconsciously, Tyler could felt the presence of Mandy since the day of the accident.
He could smell the sweet scent of her hair nearby. He could feel each stroke of her fingers combing through his hair every day.
And when Mandy put his hand on her chest, he too could felt how fast Mandy's heart race and each beat of her heart gave him the strength to continue living. Even though he couldn't reach out for her physically, he wanted to rise again and give her a big hug but he was too weak to do so.
He was in pain, pain inflicted during the accident.
It seems tones of weight is been pressured upon him making him to weak to do anything else but to feel using his senses only.
He wanted to give up on her but the thought of spending the rest of his live with the love of his life was too great to be overcome. He couldn't resist himself and slowly his willpower in him grows as days goes by.
Slowly, he manages to see some light but still he couldn't manage to reach out for it.
As time passes by, the light started to grow, it grew brighter and its light gave even more strength to Tyler. The warmth from the light felt just like the warmth of Mandy's skin. Tyler grew stronger on the inside.
Their anniversary is coming near, Tyler wanted to celebrate with her. He couldn't resist the temptation of being not able to celebrate with her, he missed it last year, and he couldn’t afford to lose it again this time, he told himself.
A sudden surge of strength came to him, a force of will that came without him realizing it.
He rises, taking one step at a time, towards the guiding light that has been shining on him for the past few months.
He struggles, he falls a few times while making the effort, but he doesn’t give up.
Because deep inside he knows once he reaches the light, he will be able to see Mandy again.
At last, with much pain and determination, he manages to reach the light and tear right through it.
Bright lights pierce through his eyes when he tries to open his eyelid.
He opens his eyes slowly, weakly… He manage to see a blurry figure lying beside him, he couldn’t identify who it was. He tries to make a sound, but it seems tiny.
He tries again, finally, he manage to utter weakly,
"m.....a......n..........d............y?"



"m...a....n....d...y..."
A voice that sounds so like Tyler n yet she is not sure as the voice is so soft that she thought she imagine it.
And yet deep in her heart, she can feel how familiar this voice is.

A voice that she have been hoping to hear for the past few months.
A voice that gives her an adrenaline rush every time when he calls her name but is this Tyler?
Mandy wonders how come the dream is so different today. She slowly open her eyes while hearing herself say: “Is this you Tyler my dear?”
And in front of her eyes, she couldn’t believe what she sees.
There he was, blinking his eyes with his long lashes, and a gaze so deep so full of love.
Suddenly, big fat drops of tears fall from her cheek. She hold Tyler's hands strongly.
And this time, it was the tears of joy that rolls down
She hugged him so tightly as though he is gonna vanish once again like what he did in the dream.
“Tyler.....”
That was what she is capable of saying now and slowly Tyler wipes of the tears from her cheek.
With all the energy he had, he tries to speak clearly with his weak voice.
“Mandy.... will u marry me?”
Mandy gaze into Tyler's eyes, not knowing what to say as she have been waiting for this day too long that she lost her words as she soaks in the joy of feeling his warmth once again in her arms. She hugs him tightly and she suddenly remembers the dream.
The dream of Tyler and her having their own family. The dream that repeats every night telling her to have faith, to be strong so tat Tyler can live on.
“Yes…Yes I do.” Mandy says softly feeling embrace in Tyler’s love.
And slowly... weakly… softly... gently… Tyler took off the necklace from Mandy's neck and put the small ring into her fingers, where the ring should belong.
The sun shines into the room, making the small diamond sparkles.
Mandy can still feel the warmth in the ring, that was transferred from her chest.
The warmth that provides her with the faith...
To believe in their Love.



7 months after, they held their wedding ceremony church-like in the Garden of Eves.
It was a small scale wedding ceremony attended by families, relatives, and close friends.
Tyler was nervous when he stand at the end of the aisle to wait for Mandy. He keeps check on the watch wondering why she’s not here yet. Every waiting moment becomes so unbearable. He has been waiting for this moment so long to be spend to rest of his life with the love of his life.
There Mandy comes, walking from the other end of the carpet, dress in a simple dress with the white veil across her face. Even though there is a veil there, but Tyler can see how beautiful she is, he wants to remember this moment forever and tell their children how pretty their mother was on the day of their wedding.
The moment has come, the pastor asked both of them:
"Are you willing to take Tyler/Mandy as your husband/wife through thick and thin, through happy times and sad times, through ups and downs, never give up o abandon him/her despite of all, "
Both of them said Yes without any hesitation and so they kissed under the shimmering moonlight, witnessed by families, relatives, and friends.
Fireworks blasted thru the sky and it reads "Mandy, I Love You, Always and Forever" glimmered the sky for a split second. Mandy and Tyler dance under the moonlight and the background plays "Keri Hilson ft. Neyo - Knocked You Down "
